Cuando el fluido fluye a trav\u00e9s del orificio, el caudal se contrae y la velocidad aumenta, creando una ca\u00edda de presi\u00f3n. La diferencia de presi\u00f3n aguas arriba y aguas abajo de la placa de orificio se mide para calcular el caudal.<\/li><li><strong>Ventajas<\/strong>: Dise\u00f1o sencillo, bajo coste y f\u00e1cil de instalar y sustituir.<\/li><li><strong>Desventajas<\/strong>: Elevada p\u00e9rdida de presi\u00f3n permanente debido a la constricci\u00f3n del flujo; requiere un mantenimiento regular para garantizar la precisi\u00f3n, especialmente en aplicaciones sucias o corrosivas.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-doxcngU2EHf7faWe8iRvBdZvChg\"><strong>Caudal\u00edmetros Venturi<\/strong>:<\/h3><ul><li><strong>Principio<\/strong>: Un tubo de Venturi tiene una garganta que se estrecha gradualmente seguida de una secci\u00f3n que se expande gradualmente. A medida que el fluido atraviesa la constricci\u00f3n, su velocidad aumenta, provocando una ca\u00edda de presi\u00f3n proporcional al caudal.<\/li><li><strong>Ventajas<\/strong>: Baja p\u00e9rdida de presi\u00f3n, alta precisi\u00f3n y adecuado para medir fluidos viscosos.<\/li><li><strong>Desventajas<\/strong>: Mayor tama\u00f1o y coste en comparaci\u00f3n con las placas de orificio; dif\u00edcil de instalar en espacios reducidos.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-doxcnMzItuAeQFFKdVUAtALnaBe\"><strong>Boquillas de caudal Caudal\u00edmetros<\/strong>:<\/h3><ul><li><strong>Principio<\/strong>: Similar al tubo de Venturi pero con un dise\u00f1o m\u00e1s simple, la tobera de flujo tiene una secci\u00f3n lisa y convergente que desemboca en una garganta donde se mide el diferencial de presi\u00f3n.<\/li><li><strong>Ventajas<\/strong>: Alta precisi\u00f3n, buena para flujos de alta velocidad y menos susceptible al desgaste.<\/li><li><strong>Desventajas<\/strong>: P\u00e9rdida de presi\u00f3n moderada, menor rangeabilidad en comparaci\u00f3n con los tubos Venturi.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"ace-line ace-line old-record-id-doxcnfajYkP9IHe9M5Kw44wAxVd\"><strong>Tubos de Pitot<\/strong>:<\/h3><ul><li><strong>Principio<\/strong>: Los tubos de Pitot miden la velocidad del flujo de fluido convirtiendo la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica del fluido en energ\u00eda potencial.
